Was wondering when do you lose the right to have your claim submitted for arbitration. If they've sent an itemized list of what they'll cover and for how much via email almost 90 days after you've submitted a claim, and by the time you receive that, they've also already sent a check, can you still ask for a public adjuster/arbitration process? What about if the check has been cashed? Does cashing the check imply that the settlement has been accepted, no ifs, ands, or buts?

Since this is a home owner claims I'll assume it's first party. What does your policy state is the time limit?
