Sometimes a person may not be able to perform his day to day activity because of old age or any cognitive impairment.Long term care insurance provides its services by helping those who cannot perform their daily activities like eating, moving, bathing, dressing and likewise.
The services are usually temporary and lasts for the period mentioned in the policy. Long-term care can be provided in a nursing home, or in an assisted living facility, or in an adult day care center, or at home. |
