Hi, I am sick of choosing out of multiple health care plans. There are too many plans in the insurance market today and I'm confused as to what factors I should consider.
Thanks, Misty Valdez

Hi Misty,
There are health care plans that would urge you to involve your doctors. Before visiting a physician it is better for you to check if the doctor falls within your chosen health care plan. Under circumstances that you decide to pick a doctor from your health care plan, it would be better for you to go through the credentials of the doctor or to check up her details at AMA. Please check out the accessibility of the doctor from the place that you reside in. Crossbreed

Hi..it is quite natural for you to inquire about dealing with a specialist under circumstances that you may bear a pre-existing health condition. You'd need to check the possibilities that you may need to see more of your primary doctor. It is again quite natural for you to make sure whether your current physician would fall within the health care plan network that you're opting for.

Yes my friend, it is surely important for all of us to make sure whether pre-existing health conditions exist with us even before we would think of applying for a policy. In order to make our policy truly operational, we'd need to ensure that the specific conditions that we have would be covered.

On the other hand we should not forget to shop for the benefits that would come under the different policies. We'd need to analyze and see whether those benefits are the ones that we're really looking for.

Some of the pre-existing conditions would be fully covered since the commencement of the policy benefits, some would be partially covered. There could even be some of the pre-existing conditions which would be covered after the lapse of a certain period of time. BarbieL

You'd obviously need to check the list of emergency rooms and hospitals that come under your policy. Please don't forget to check the conditions that are being considered as "emergency" under your policy. Don't take things for granted..your carrier may have a different understanding of emergency needs than you. Some times your policy might just need you to visit your primary physician before getting admitted in to an emergency unit.

Just get a major medical 80/20 plan with a $2500 deductible. Forget dr copays, the option costs more than it's worth. Take good care of yourself, eat right and exercise.
